Until that time, the Riedel family had always suggested another gl for Syrah. This Riedel Sommeliers Hermitage/Syrah gl was developed between 1993 and 1995 following tastings with many influential winemakers contributing their views. It is shaped to deliver the clic Syrah aromas of toast and black olives. On the palate, it brings out the wine's silky, velvety structure and balanced flavors. The tannins melt into the fruit, appearing sweet rather that acerbic on the back palate. Great for Syrah, Shiraz, Hermitage, Grenache, etc
